SÉAMUS POWER ENDURED a disappointing final round at the Sanderson Farms Championship as his challenge for a first PGA Tour title faded in Mississippi.
Starting the day just two shots off the lead, the Waterford golfer harboured realistic hopes of a maiden victory but was unable to replicate his form of the previous three rounds.

A five-over par round of 77 — his worst of the week by some distance — saw Power tumble 23 places to finish in a tie for 29th.
His day started brightly with a birdie three on the first but that was as good as it got as he dropped two shots before the turn and then disaster struck on the home stretch.
A further bogey on 10 was followed by doubles on 12 and 14 as he finished 13 shots behind eventual winner Cody Gribble.
Despite the disappointment of the final round, it was a hugely encouraging and positive week for the 29-year-old in just his second event on the PGA Tour this season.
The Rio Olympian earned his full Tour card by finishing inside the top 25 of the Web.com Tour last year, an achievement which was helped by winning the United Leasing and Finance Championship in May.
