The 25-year-old, who has scored seven goals from full-back this season, narrowly missed out on a third award, as his Goal of the Season contender against Swansea was beaten by Ross Barkley’s recent effort against Man City.
Speaking at the event, Coleman told evertontv: “It’s indescribable to win these two accolades.
“When I arrived here in 2009, I couldn’t have imagined I’d be stood here with these awards in my hands.
“There must have been a lot of contenders for both of these awards this season and that says a lot about this team.”
In addition to his well-documented attacking strengths, Coleman was part of a defence that has conceded just 39 goals this season. Moreover, the ex-Sligo Rovers player has already been recognised by his fellow professionals, after being named in the PFA Team of the Season last week.
