Donegal man Seamus Coleman has been employing some sneaky GAA tactics throughout the game – and everyone’s delighted.
Eagle-eyed fans noticed when picking up the ball for a throw-in, he slid his toe under the it for a GAA-style pickup:
Love the fact Seamus Coleman got his toe under ball to make sure he wasn't blown for a pickup 😂😂 #Euros #GAA pic.twitter.com/buC44jLHTW— Pádraig Amond (@padraigamond21) June 26, 2016

As if everyone wasn’t feeling extremely proud of their country already, that little bit of GAA turned the patriotism dial all the way up to 11 for a few short minutes.

Good to see Seamus Coleman has remembered his GAA pick-ups. Did one before a throw-in.— Kieran Cunningham (@KCsixtyseven) June 26, 2016

Seamus Coleman won't get caught by the ref for any pick ups anyway taking the throws. Toe under the ball every time. #GAA #IREvFRA #COYBIG— Mark Cullagh (@MarkCullagh1) June 26, 2016

Coleman played as a back for his local GAA team as a teenager. You never forget your roots.
