Farren has been battling a brain tumour for six years and needs to travel to Germany for treatment that will cost €30,000. Three days ago, Farren’s family launched an appeal for donations and as of right now, over €25,000 has been raised.
Everton defender and former Sligo Rovers man, Seamus Coleman, personally gave €5,000 to help Farren and there were bucket collections around the country at League of Ireland games yesterday and today.
