SCOTT QUIGG DEFENDED his WBA World Super-Bantamweight title in ruthless fashion this evening.

The Bury fighter made light work of Belgium’s Stephane Jamoye and finished the fight inside three rounds with this thunderous body shot.
The emphatic win was a statement of intent as Quigg presses for a showdown with Belfast’s newly crowned IBF world champ Carl Frampton.
“Carl Frampton is the fight I want next,” he said.
“Barry [McGuigan], Eddie [Hearn], Carl and I should sit down in a room and not come out until it is sorted.”
One thing is for sure: he certainly doesn’t look like he fancies 12 rounds against WBA super champion Guillermo Rigondeaux judging by this reaction.
