We're guessing there won't be this many free seats in Celtic Park on Friday night. Jeff Holmes

Have you a ticket for Scotland v Ireland? Where are you sitting?

Thousands of Irish fans are expected to make the short trip across the water this week.

THE MAD SCRAMBLE for tickets has dominated the build-up to Ireland’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland.

The FAI received the minimum allocation of just over 3,000 tickets for the Celtic Park clash, leaving a number of loyal fans empty-handed.

Thousands more travelling supporters are expected to make their way to Scotland having snapped up available tickets in the ‘home’ sections.

FAI chief executive John Delaney accused his SFA counterparts of acting “unprofessionally” by limiting the number of Irish tickets, while fan group You Boys in Green say the entire fiasco has shown that the FAI’s system is in need of fundamental reform.

After all of that, there’s still a game to be played so we’re asking:

  • Are you travelling over to Scotland this week?
  • Do you have a ticket?
  • Will you be sitting among the away fans or the home fans?
