Poll: Who will win today's Six Nations opener between Scotland and Ireland?

All eyes will be on Murrayfield at 2.25pm.

BYE BYE JANUARY — hello February and the beginning of a brand new Six Nations campaign.

A lot of over-eager fans have pencilled 18 March into their calendars already but there’s a long way to go before we get to talk of championship deciders, record winning streaks, and the ifs and buts of Grand Slams.

It all starts this afternoon in Scotland as Joe Schmidt takes his Ireland side in search of what they hope will be the first of five wins in the competition.

The bookies make Ireland the five-point favourites and while our recent record in Murrayfield is good, it frequently turns out to be a nip and tuck affair.
