Eamon Zayed links up with George O'Callaghan and El-Hadji Diouf in Malaysia

The striker has left Shamrock Rovers and joined another ex-LOI star at Sabah Rhinos.

GEORGE O’CALLAGHAN HAS been busy in the transfer market since recently taking over as manager of Malaysian club Sabah Rhinos.

The ex-Cork City midfielder signed up former Liverpool striker El-Hadji Diouf for the M League side last week and he has now added another striker to their ranks in the shape of Eamon Zayed.

Dublin-born Zayed spent the second half of last season on loan to Sligo Rovers from Shamrock Rovers having joined the Hoops in 2013.

A Libyan international, the 31-year-old also had stints in Iran with Persepolis and Aluminium Homozgan after spells in the League of Ireland with Bray Wanderers, Drogheda United and Sporting Fingal.

Here are the pair pictured with Diouf and fellow new signings Tales dos Santos and Srecko Mitrovic:

Look for Thunder to play Kiwi rookie Stephen Adams many more minutes and be competitive next time…

As much as I would love to see the thunder win the series, methinks the spurs have way too much on the bench. Pops a top top coach and with the heat missing something(maybe the hunger for a third consecitive title)i think the spurs are the team to beat. I agree adams will offer a bit but is inexperienced at this level, that said definitely has a future in nba.
