IRISH FANS ARE still making their way to Lyon for the match later today – but one batch of supporters got a lovely treat on their flight this morning.
2FM DJ Declan Pierce was on a Ryanair flight from Dublin to Lyon when Captain Greg Browne did something unusual: He came out of the cockpit to welcome them all in.
After telling them to “have loads of craic” on the flight, he introduced him to his team of Gary Breens:
And announced that he would be forgoing his captain’s uniform to don his Irish jersey for the flight:
