So Ryan Jones, what are your 6 Nations chances looking like?

More good (schadenfreude) news for Ireland as the Welsh flanker dislocated his thumb today.

PERHAPS KARMA IS a bitch after all?

Wales, who have stolen two out of the last three Test matches against Ireland, look to have lost flanker Ryan Jones to injury with weeks to go to the 2013 Six Nations.

Jones has suffered a suspected thumb dislocation following Ospreys 15-15 draw with Leicester Tigers at the Liberty Stadium this afternoon.

The former Welsh captain and British & Irish Lion sent this tweet at 6pm:

Jones looks on the bright side.

Wales are already without Alun-Wyn Jones and Luke Charteris for the upcoming campaign while locks Ian Evans and Bradley Davies are also injured.

Jones, who can also play at second-row, was tweeting from his phone whilst waiting on scans in hospital.

Fellow Ospreys forward Richard Hibbard also left the pitch with an injury.

Ireland play Wales at the Millennium Stadium on 2 February.
