'A dream day for us' - Sleepless Giggs revels in winning start to coaching career

Wayne Rooney feels the Welshman has ‘all the credentials’ to be the next Manchester United boss.

RYAN GIGGS LED Manchester United to a 4-0 win over Norwich City at Old Trafford this evening in his first game as interim manager. The player-manager admitted to Sky Sports that he did not sleep last night and was never going to select himself as he never got a chance to train all week.

Sky also caught up with Juan Mata and Wayne Rooney, who both scored goals in United’s 4-0 victory. “We know we’re better than what we’ve shown,” declared man-of-the-match Rooney, who added that the players should accept their share of the blame for the sacking of former boss David Moyes.
