IT’S WIDELY BELIEVED Louis van Gaal will be appointed the new Manchester United manager sooner rather than later and it’s becoming increasingly likely that Ryan Giggs will be part of his coaching staff.

The Welshman was spotted in Noordwijk earlier this afternoon, apparently preparing for a meeting with van Gaal to discuss plans for next season.
Van Gaal has been with his Dutch squad, preparing for the World Cup at a base in Hoenderloo – about an hour and twenty minutes from Noordwijk.

De Telegraaf are reporting that video analyst Max Reckers and goalkeeping coach Frans Hoek will also be part of van Gaal’s team at Old Trafford with both having worked with him for many years.
Patrick Kluivert, van Gaal’s assistant with the Dutch team, is not expected to go with him to Manchester.
It’s believed Phil Neville and Chris Woods, who arrived at United when David Moyes was appointed last summer, will leave the club though there’s been no official word from the club.
Giggs, who will turn 41 in November, has admitted to being unsure over whether or not to continue playing, adding that the decision isn’t entirely his to make and that whoever the new manager is may not want him as part of the squad.
