'Trust me, we will be back': RVP looks like he knows the next Manchester United manager quite well

He said ‘save this interview’, so they did.

ROBIN VAN PERSIE looked like a bad poker player with a winning hand after scoring in last night’s 3 – 1 Premier League victory over Hull.

In this snippet from a post-match interview with MUTV last night Van Persie appeared fully confident that his current club would be a more stable place next season, grinning as he said:

“Trust me we will be back. Trust me. Save this interview.”

With one game remaining in a long unsuccessful season punctuated by injury and rumours of discontent with David Moyes, can the Netherlands captain now expect to work with his national team coach Louis Van Gaal at club level next season?
