We asked Irish rugby stars: Who's your best friend in the sport?

And no, Dave Kearney didn’t pick his brother.

THIS WEEK, WE’RE looking at the mental health benefits of playing sport, and touch rugby in particular.

One finding that comes up time and time again is the social aspect of team sport, and how it can have a positive impact on your mental health.

With that in mind, we spoke to some current and former Ireland rugby internationals –all of whom are ambassadors for the Cadbury #BoostYourAwareness Touch Rugby Blitz on Friday, 19 May at Lansdowne Rugby Club — about how important they’ve found the social aspect of the sport.

Not only that, but we asked the toughest question of them all — just who is their best friend in the sport?

Alan Quinlan, Jordi Murphy and Fiona Coghlan were among those to answer the question. If you remember the moment below, Quinlan’s choice won’t surprise you.
