Roy Keane had a gentle dig at Eamon Dunphy last night

“They’ve played at a decent level. Well, two of them have played at a decent level,” he joked.

ROY KEANE HAS played down the RTÉ panel’s recent criticism of Ireland’s performance against Germany and had a gentle dig at ghostwriter of his first autobiography, Eamon Dunphy, in the process.

Speaking in a public interview to promote The Second Half, Keane said:

“Do you know what? It’s just an opinion. It’s what football is about. These guys are entitled to their opinion.”

He added, with a smile. “They’ve played at a decent level. Well, two of them have played at a decent level.”

And when asked about his relationship with Dunphy in particular, Keane said: ”I never see him. If I saw him, I’d probably say hello but we never see each other. I don’t socialise where he goes, thank God.”
