ROY KEANE LAST night insisted England’s 1-1 draw with Montenegro showed Roy Hodgson’s side are ‘going sideways.
Wayne Rooney struck early in the first half but the hosts came back at England in the second, with Dejan Damjanovic equalising in the 76th minute in Podgorica.
The result sees England stay second in Group H, two points behind Montenegro.
“Listen, England need a reality check,” Keane said on ITV. ”England should be beating these kind of teams. We were saying how we couldn’t believe how bad Montenegro were; England were shocking in the second half. They’re going sideways for me.
