Watch Rory McIlroy chip out of a coleslaw 'bunker' and attempt a 50-foot putt on glass

We want to know what happened with the 900 lbs of coleslaw after Rory was done mucking about.

THE BUNKERS AND greens at the US Open this week will be tough — but they’re unlikely to be as tricky as the challenge ESPN’s Sports Science crew set Rory McIlroy.

The two-time Major winner tested a range of his skills with three different tasks in a warehouse obstacle course.

First he had to punch the ball through the front door from 70 yards… in the dark.

Then he took on a bunker shot with a difference — playing it out of coleslaw made from cabbage which is 20 times thicker than grass and mayonnaise which is 5,000 times more viscous than water.

Finally he was faced with a 50-foot putt on glass, 3.5 times faster than the typical US Open green.
