That didn't take long! Ronnie racks up a century in his first-round match at The Crucible

The Rocket is taking on debutant Gary Wilson in Sheffield.

RONNIE O’SULLIVAN is taking on debutant Gary Wilson in his first-round match at the World Snooker Championship in Sheffield and it didn’t take him long to get into a rhythm.

The Rocket conjured a break of 122 to deliver the first century of the tournament in the fifth frame – a tally that ensured he claimed a 4-1 lead.

O’Sullivan took the first three frames before Wilson got one back before the mid-session interval.

But Wilson then found some momentum of his own and has cut the deficit to 5-4 in this best of 19 decider.

Fergal O’Brien qualifies for World Champs by winning the longest frame of snooker ever played (no, really)
