Ronnie O'Sullivan records his 776th century break to beat Stephen Hendry's record

Yet another record for Ronnie.

RONNIE O’SULLIVAN didn’t waste much time in beating Stephen Hendry’s century break record as he put together 101 in the first frame of his Masters quarter-final clash with Marco Fu this afternoon.

Going into the match The Rocket was level with Stephen Hendry on 775 century breaks after recording two against Ricky Walden in his first round victory.

The 39-year-old looked on course to extend the record in the next frame but he missed a brown when on 51, allowing Fu in to make it 1-1.

At his current rate O’Sullivan is on course to hit the 1,000 mark before the age of 45.

Here’s the moment he potted the brown to break the record.
