Ronan O'Gara cited ahead of Racing Métro semi against Toulon

The former Munster out-half was reported by the match referee following his team’s win over Toulouse.

RONAN O’GARA HAS been reported for bad behaviour and will meet league officials in the middle of next week to defend his sideline actions during Racing Métro’s quarter final win over Toulouse.

The former Munster out-half, who is now backs and skills coach with the Parisian club, was included in reports of two match officials following the game. Although the Top 14′s disciplinary commission have not given any specifics regarding O’Gara’s summons, it will convene ‘on an urgent basis’ to hear O’Gara’s take on events.

The 37-year-old and Racing head coach Laurent Labit were a vocal presence on the sidelines during Racing’s win, which set up a semi-final tie against Toulon on Friday evening. Labit has also been reported to the commission ahead of its 21 May meeting.

Racing, meanwhile have announced a 29-man squad in advance of the semi-final at Stade Pierre Mauroy. Jonathan Sexton, Jamie Roberts and Mike Phillips are all included in the extended backs panel.

Juandre Kruger, who fell out with Sexton in training earlier this month, is named along with 15 other forwards. Dan Lydiate’s injury has once again ruled him out.

Toulon forward Konstantine Mikautadze will miss the game after receiving a four-week ban. Mikautadze was sent off in Toulon’s recent match [3 May] against Stade Francais for kicking an opponent but he will be eligible to play in the final if his team overcome Racing.
