Brazilian football legend Ronaldo hopes to learn from WPP Group chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell.

BRAZILIAN FOOTBALL LEGEND Ronaldo is to move to London to study under one of the world’s top advertising bosses.

The 36-year-old is teaming up to learn from British businessman Sir Martin Sorrell, the chief executive of ad giant WPP Group.

The two have previously worked together on 9ine, the striker’s “sports marketing communications” firm which was established ahead of Brazil’s hosting of the FIFA World Cup in 2014 and 2016 Olympic Games.

Ronaldo, 36, is expected to spend “a few months” in London as part of the collaboration with Sorrell, a spokeperson told the Guardian.

A three-time winner of FIFA Player of the Year, Ronaldo retired from football in 2011.
