BAYERN MUNICH STAR Robert Lewandowski was hospitalised on Tuesday night following this sickening clash with Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper Mitch Langerak.
Lewandowski took a heavy blow to the head late in extra-time in the DFB Pokal semi-final.
He was taken to hospital where it was later confirmed that he broke his upper jaw and nose as well as suffering a concussion.
“It doesn’t get much worse than that,” Bayern said in an update on Wednesday.
