Robbie Keane's message of support after cousins involved in sewer pipe tragedy

One of the Ireland striker’s family members died yesterday while the other remains in hospital.

IRELAND CAPTAIN ROBBIE Keane has posted a message on social media to pay tribute to the two men involved in an industrial accident in Dublin yesterday.

Brothers Alan and Stephen Harris, who are cousins of the LA Galaxy striker, were working on a sewerage pipe in Portmarnock when they were overcome by toxic fumes. Father-of-two Alan died, while Stephen has been left critically-ill in hospital.

Writing on Facebook tonight, Keane, who is on international duty with Ireland ahead of this weekend’s Euro 2016 qualifier against Scotland, paid tribute to the pair.
