Keane, who also chipped in with nine assists [they love 'em Stateside] in 28 games, was selected in a front three that includes Chris Wondolowski of San Jose Earthquakes and New York’s favourite Red Bull, Thierry Henry.
Keane’s LA Galaxy teammate Landon Donovan was named in midfield for the fifth successive season.
There was no place, however, for the departing and demure David Beckham.

Zusi, Henry and Wondolowski – scorer of 27 goals this season – are vying for the league’s MVP award, which will be announced on Thursday.
