ROBBIE KEANE HAD his scoring boots on once more last night as LA Galaxy eased to a 3-0 victory over Toronto in the MLS Western Conference.
The record breaking Irish striker bagged a brace as he added to his claim for the MLS MVP award.
While his first finish oozed class, his second certainly had the StubHub Arena rocking – with his volley nestling into the bottom right corner.

The two goals bring the 34-year-old striker’s tally to 19 now for the season, with his first strike coming on 22 minutes to break the deadlock, while his second came just two minutes later. Poor Joe Bendik had no chance between the sticks.
Keane’s performances this season have seen him touted for the MLS MVP award, with fellow candidate and team mate Landon Donovan this week adding his name to the list of admirers.
“His ability to create chances and wreck havoc on defenses is unlike any other,” Donovan told the club’s official website.
“With all due respect to Obafemi, there’s no other player in the league like Robbie. The things that he does week to week are spectacular.
“We’re very lucky to have him and there’s no question that he’s the MVP.”
But Robbie was doing his best to keep the hype down post match;
“Trust me; the last thing on my mind is the MVP. My main focus right now is the team. That’s the most important thing.”
