WAS THERE EVER any doubt? The MLS Cup final looked destined for penalties as LA Galaxy and the New England Revolution were tied 1-1 in the second half of extra time.

Then Robbie Keane did what Robbie Keane does, and scored another important goal.

After a goalless first half, the LA Galaxy took the lead through Keane’s strike partner, Gyasi Zardes, after he rifled the ball to New England’s net.

Chris Tierney sent the game to extra time with this well taken goal before Keane’s heroics won him his third MLS Cup.
