Robbie Henshaw to miss Ireland's tour of Argentina

Joe Schmidt has not yet made a decision on a replacement.

CONNACHT’S YOUNG STAR Robbie Henshaw has withdrawn from the Ireland squad which will tour Argentina next month.

The Athlone native sustained a hand ligament injury earlier in the season which he ‘exacerbated’ in training this week, the IRFU say.

Henshaw will undergo surgery immediately, the union confirmed.

Joe Schmidt has not yet made a decision on who will replace the 20-year-old.
