'From Schools Cup to World Cup in a couple of years' - the rise and rise of Robbie Henshaw

A new short documentary looks at just what it takes to make it as a professional rugby player.

FRESH FACED AND fancy-free, Robbie Henshaw will take his place at inside centre when Ireland take on Italy in Rome tomorrow but, as this short film proves, all it takes to get to that level, is everything.

It takes braving the cold Saturday morning training sessions. It takes giving up on your dream of becoming an All-Ireland accordion champion. It takes your granny lighting a few candles.

But what it really takes is determination and this short documentary shows the 21-year old has that in bucket loads.
