ROBBIE BRADY SAYS that Norwich must be ruthless and relentless if they want to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
The 24-year-old midfielder scored his side’s only goal of the game against West Bromwich Albion at the weekend as the Canaries earned a 1-0 win at the Hawthorns to lift Alex Neil’s side out of the relegation zone.
Norwich currently sit in 17th place, just two points clear of fellow strugglers Sunderland, but Brady insists that Norwich have a squad that is capable of surviving.
“When Norwich got relegated last time they only got rid of two players so 90 per cent of the lads have been in this position before,” Brady said in Dublin yesterday.

“If you can take anything from that you’ve just got to be ruthless and relentless in trying to keep clean sheets so you can live until the end of the season.
“But it’s fine margins, especially down at that end of the table because everyone’s fighting for their lives.
If we can take any knowledge out of the last few years and if it can give us any sort of advantage, even if it’s one per cent, we’ll take it on board and use it.
Brady was in Dublin on Sunday night to accept the FAI’s Young Player Of The Year Award at the RTÉ Studios in Donnybrook.
The Dubliner became the first Irish player since James McCarthy to be nominated for both the Young and Senior Player Of The Year award, and after the ceremony the former Hull City winger said it was amazing to receive such an honour.
“A good night, but I think they’re running out of young players at the minute so I might have won it by default tonight!” Brady joked.
“Ah no, obviously I’m delighted to pick up this award.
“It’s always been a massive goal of mine and dream to play for my country, so to pick up such a big award tonight it’s an amazing feeling.”
