Brady has been named in Martin O’Neill’s squad for the upcoming internationals against Oman and Georgia and will be looking to add to his six caps.
“It was numerous things, problems around my hips and groin,” Brady said when asked about his fitness problems.
“When one thing seemed to be getting a bit better another thing was going. I had a couple of operations and I feel solid now, I feel as though everything has cleared up. Touch wood there’ll be no more problems.”
Ireland meet Oman in a friendly on Wednesday before heading to Georgia for their first Euro 2016 qualifier and Brady adds that the Boys in Green will be after all three points.
“We won’t be going away there for a draw. It’s one we’ll be looking to win and hopefully set us off with a few goals and help us through the group. It’ll be a good game. It’s a long way away but I’m sure all the lads are looking forward to it, they’re all fired up.”
