TIPPERARY FORWARD Lar Corbett opened his post this morning in Thurles to find this letter from one apparent Premier hurling fan.
The former Hurler of the Year took fierce criticism for his performance during the All-Ireland semi-final defeat to Kilkenny this summer.
Corbett spent a large part of the afternoon concentrating on stopping the likes of Tommy Walsh, rather than cause some damage himself.
Manager Declan Ryan has since fallen on his sword and Corbett has admitted they should have changed tactics sooner.
“You and others have a whole winter now to reflect on your silly behaviour,” Corbett’s new pen pal writes.
