Reporter conducts interview... in the nip

ESPN’S Morty Ain let it all hang out in one of the most unusual interviews to ever take place in a locker-room.

REPORTERS ARE ALWAYS interviewing naked athletes, so what would happen if the reporter was the naked one?

ESPN reporter Morty Ain found out for an article in the upcoming Body Issue.

The article details how athletes have used locker room nudity to avoid, psych-out, and harass reporters in the past.

Ain then interviews two Los Angeles Kings players in the nude.

After some initial awkwardness, the three of them settle in and talk more broadly about the role of nudity in the locker room.

“It’s just ingrained with most of us at this point,” one says. “The whole nudity thing doesn’t bother us.”

Ultimately, they conclude that nudity forges a unique bond between beat reporters and their subjects.

“You deal with the same people all the time, especially at home, so it’s not that big of a deal,” a player said.
