Redknapp doesn't know what the world's coming to, and can't work a Tweeter

The Tottenham manager has no interest in any of these newfangled devices, and doesn’t care if his players use twits, tweets or whatever.

HARRY REDKNAPP CAN’T work a Tweeter.

The Tottenham manager has rubbished claims that he dropped Jermain Defoe for the game against Newcastle because the striker had tweeted that he would start the game.

The tweet was later confirmed to be from a fake Twitter account and Redknapp, who remembers a time when people used to use their vocal chords to talk to each other and everything, couldn’t have cared less.

“I didn’t see the twit, the tweet, because I can’t work a tweeter,” Redknapp told the press.

“I don’t know what it is. I haven’t got a clue what a Tweet is. It’s beyond me all this Tweeting and Facebooking. I don’t understand it as I live in another world to that so I don’t know if he’s Tweeted or not.

“In fact I couldn’t care if he did or he didn’t really.

“We used to talk to each other at one time and now we talk on computers and all that. I don’t know what the world’s coming to really.”
