Here's The42's Premier League dream team of 2015

Who would be in your XI?

WHAT MAKES IT particularly tricky to pick a calendar year Premier League dream team for 2015 is just how far Chelsea have fallen in the second half of the year.

Some players who were sensational during their title-winning campaign have been playing like their own grandfathers this season (Cesc Fabregas anyone?).

Regardless, we have poured over countless hours of footage and reams of paper filled with the most cutting edge statistics available (goals, assists, clean sheets, etc) to bring you a cast-iron Premier League dream team for 2015.

Where applicable we have included an alternate Chelsea player who would have been included had he not had his talent stolen in a Space Jam-esque manner.
P.S: We have decided to go a bit Garth Crooksy and have got with an overly attacking 4-1-3-2 formation.
