All games kick off Saturday 3pm unless stated otherwise
Fulham v Arsenal (12.45)
Fulham look a solid outfit this season and got an impressive win over Sunderland last week. Nevertheless, Arsenal should be too strong for them, and will have been boosted by their excellent Champions League win over the week.
Bet: 23/20 Arsenal
Everton v West Brom
Both these sides will be hoping to be still competing for a top six place come the end of the season, given their respective finishes last year. West Brom had a disappointing first-day loss to Southampton, and that setback, coupled with the Toffees’ home advantage, should be enough to see Roberto Martinez’s side emerge with all three points.
Bet: 8/13 Everton
Hull City v Norwich
This is the type of game Hull need to be winning if they have aspirations to stay up this season. Chelsea easily outclassed them last week, but this should be a truer indicator of their ability. Norwich, though, seem to be developing reasonably well under Chris Hughton, so expect them to secure a draw at least.
Bet: 9/4 Draw

Newcastle v West Ham
Newcastle were absolutely abysmal last week against City. Even allowing for the fact that they were playing a side who are likely to be contending for the league this year, they still looked a team desperately short on morale. West Ham opened their campaign with an assured 2-0 win over Cardiff, so they’ll undoubtedly prove to be another stern test for the Magpies.
Bet: 23/10 Draw
Southampton v Sunderland

These two clubs last season both made a somewhat controversial decision to sack their manager and subsequently hire a new innovative promising young coach. It seems to have worked out well for Southampton, but the jury remains out on Paolo Di Canio. And it is because of that lingering uncertainty that the Saints look the more likely to prevail.
Bet: 3/4 Southampton
Stoke v Crystal Palace
Stoke were well and truly overrun by Liverpool last week, but the fact that they still almost emerged with a point suggests they have decent character. Crystal Palace, similarly, rallied late on against Tottenham and might well have earned a point. Nonetheless, playing at home, this is a game that Mark Hughes’ side would be expected to win.
Bet: 17/20 Stoke
Aston Villa v Liverpool (Saturday, 5.30pm)
Aston Villa gave a classic counter-attacking performance against Arsenal last week, which suggested they could be this season’s surprise package and were also somewhat unfortunate not to get more against Chelsea. Liverpool’s recurring inability to show a killer instinct, as was evident against Stoke last week, means they won’t be overly confident of winning this one.
Bet: 12/5 Draw
Cardiff v Man City (Sunday, 4pm)
City looked extremely efficient in their classy destruction of Newcastle last Monday night and on that basis, Premier League newcomers Cardiff, who have themselves experienced a less-than-assured start, shouldn’t pose the Eastlands club too much of a threat.
Bet: 4/9 Man City
Tottenham v Swansea (Sunday, 4pm)
Tottenham weren’t exactly convincing as they beat Palace in their opening game, however they were a lot better than Swansea, who made it far too easy for David Moyes in his first league game in charge of United. Unless they suddenly become panic stricken at the realisation that they can no longer rely on Gareth Bale, AVB’s men will triumph tomorrow.
Bet: 8/13 Tottenham
Man United v Chelsea (Monday, 8pm)
The big one which should give fans a broad idea of exactly how well these two sides’ respective managers are adapting to their new jobs. These games are often characterised by considerable caution, particularly when Mourinho’s involved, so don’t be surprised to see this one end in a stalemate.
Bet: 11/5 Draw
