ANOTHER WEEKEND OF Premier League action and we’ve five more bets for you to chew on.
As always, these are absolutely guaranteed to come through provided a large number of variables fall into place.
Liverpool to beat Man United – 23/20
United have won three in-a-row in the league, but besides last weekend’s victory against Spurs, they haven’t looked overly impressive. After struggling early in the season, Brendan Rodgers’ side have hit their stride since Christmas, winning eight of nine in the league and haven’t lost in the Premiership since a visit to Old Trafford back in December. We think they will continue their top 4 push on Sunday.
Man City -1 v West Brom – 5/6
City went out of Europe in midweek but actually created quite a bit at the Nou Camp and should have scored at least once. Their defence was opened up regularly… but West Brom’s attack isn’t as potent as the three-headed serpent that is Suarez, Messi and Neymar. They are a different side at the Ethiad and should return to winning ways this weekend.
Aston Villa over 1.5 goals at home to Swansea – 8/5
After two opening losses, Villa have played a lot better under Sherwood. They have scored two or more goals in their last three games including four against Sunderland last weekend. As Sherwood would say, that’s a good ratio.
Under 2.5 goals in Southampton v Burnley – 5/6
Southampton’s last seven league games have had less than 2.5 goals while Burnley’s last four have gone under the total. The Saints are at home so they might win a close game but the form guide says there shouldn’t be much goals.
Man City to win, Spurs to beat Leicester at home, Arsenal to beat Newcastle away and Chelsea to beat Hull - 4/1
Happy fourfold, everyone!
Form will count for nothing come Sunday
Because the formbook goes out the window in these big games?
I think if you did some research you would find that form can often be a good guide to how an important game can Go.
The problem with this game is that both teams having been picking up points but neither has been playing that well, albeit it’s more recent phenomenon for Liverpool and United have improved in the last game.
Both teams have a lot to gain but more to lose so I think it will be a draw.
Man U played well against a terrible Spurs performance…. Liverpool grinding out results…. Should be eventful…
Fellaini to get a yellow card easiest money you’ll make all year!!
United’s away form is brutal all season. Best they can hope for is a draw but Pool should have too much for em. Won’t miss 6 clear cut chances like they did last time.
If United stick with 4 at the back and keep Blind away from cental midfield they will have a very good chance but if Van Gaal reverts to 3 at the back, forget about it.
Goo team rodgers
4 at the back, keep Blind away from central midfield and keep the Colombian Bambi on ice off the team sheet altogether. Young Wilson much more deserved of an opportunity.
Would you not go for 4 at the back?
On 5th thoughts…..I agree John :)
If United stick to 4 at the back and keep Blind away from central midfield they have a very good chance of getting a result.
@pirate dog. Are you saying United should play 4 at the back, drop Valencia and keep Blind out of midfield?
Why didn’t you say so?
Valencia is Ecuadorian my friend. I was referring to Mr Falcao. You have paraphrased my thoughts exactly aside from that though. To add – I was not aware my first 3 posts actually posted hence why I wrote a 4th. Now I look quite the wally. Apologies to all.
Falcao will do a Forlan and sicken you all
Will he get a game Baz?
You never know , I’m sure plenty though the same about Diego Forlan at the time
Stick with 4 at the back, keep Blind away from central midfield and have the Colombian Bambi on ice nowhere near the team sheet. Young Wilson much more deserved of an opportunity. That said, Anfield a very hostile place to go. Should be a cracker of a game considering the importance of the game.
I honestly think united will win this one best gk in the league and if you look at past seasons tge most bolster attack so if they play well a 2-1 would be a good win
