The European Championships come to a close tomorrow night, and clubs across the Irish Sea are gearing up for the season ahead.
If you’re not a League of Ireland regular it could be the perfect time to visit your local club while having a chance to look at the likes of Rafael Benitez’s Newcastle, Garry Monk’s Leeds United or Mick McCarthy’s Ipswich Town.
Bray Wanderers have already beaten Scottish Championship side Falkirk, although Shelbourne did lose to the same opponents three days later. While manager Paul Cook returned to the Showgrounds with his Portsmouth side to play out a thrilling 3-3 draw against Sligo Rovers.
