Poll: will Ireland win in Russia this evening?

Giovanni Trapattoni may be playing for his job tonight. And there’s a crucial three points on offer too.

IT’S CRUNCH TIME.

Ireland face Russia in a Group B Euro 2012 qualifier in Moscow today (kick-off 4pm).

Giovanni Trapattoni’s men line out without defenders John O’Shea and Sean St Ledger - though the Italian yesterday insisted Ireland can win.

And – he insists - the three points are very much the aim this afternoon.

Trap named the following team yesterday afternoon: Shay Given, Stephen Kelly, Richard Dunne, Darren O’Dea, Stephen Ward, Damien Duff, Glenn Whelan, Keith Andrews, Aiden McGeady, Robbie Keane, Kevin Doyle.

He admitted to journalists that his front two may be less than 100% fit however.

So what do you reckon? Will Ireland get the elusive away win against a top seed?

Poll Results:

Not a hope, Bill (359)
We'll get a draw (172)
Yeah, I fancy them for some reason (162)
Don't care, like voting (48)
