Dublin booked their place in next month’s All-Ireland senior football final yesterday with a hard-fought semi-final victory over Donegal yesterday.
Pat Gilroy’s side ran out 0-8 to 0-6 winners in front of a full Croke Park to progress to their first decider since 1995.
Already there of course are the Blues’ old rivals Kerry. The final will be one for the football traditionalists with the match-up evoking the rivalry which marked the game in the 70s and 80s.
