POLL: Should Jamie Heaslip or Brian O'Driscoll captain Ireland for the 6 Nations

Irish coach Declan Kidney will reveal all tomorrow.

IRELAND COACH DECLAN KIDNEY will name his extended squad for the Six Nations at the Aviva Stadium tomorrow morning.

Kidney is expected to stick with the squad that delivered an emphatic victory over Argentina in November, with old stagers like Mike Ross and Gordon D’Arcy mixing it with new stars Craig Gilroy and Simon Zebo.

However, with Brian O’Driscoll two matches into his comeback from an ankle injury, Kidney may hand the inspirational centre the added responsibilities of captaincy.

Heaslip overcame a rough start to his captaincy tenure when he was sin-binned in the 16-12 defeat to South Africa but he performed well in the follow-up matches against Fiji and Argentina.

Should Ireland call back O’Driscoll to lead the team through what could, conceivably, be his last Six Nations or embrace the future with Heaslip?

Who should captain Ireland for the Six Nations?

Poll Results:

Heaslip (1833)
