THERE HAS UNDOUBTEDLY been some memorable moments in this year’s Rugby World Cup.
The drama and excitement of Wales-South Africa, New Zealand’s consummate defeat of Australia and Ireland’s shock win (also) against Australia are three such moments.
However, there have also been grumblings that the tournament has been somewhat of a disappointment.
While some of the lower-tier nations, most notably Samoa, displayed promise, the quarter-final stages had an all-too-familiar look about them.
Moreover, given the nature of France’s defeat against Wales, many are calling the final an anti-climactic foregone conclusion, in addition to accusing France of being undeserving finalists.
I would imagine this is a hoax alright. Come on Oliver just admit you were fooled!!
