Poll: Who do you think will win this year’s Division 2 football league title?

The battle is on to gain promotion from the second tier, and to avoid a Division 3 drop.

DIVISION 2 OF the Allianz Football League looks set to be as competitive as ever – with two precious promotion spots on offer from the second tier.

Cork and Down, both relegated from the top flight last year, will hope to bounce back at the first attempt but it won’t be easy.

Galway, Meath and Kildare are also in the eight-team group and Clare will hope to compete in rarefied atmosphere, following promotion from the third tier.

Kildare were also promoted from Division 3 in 2017 and will hope to consolidate in the months to come.

And then there’s Fermanagh and Derry, who join Ulster rivals Down in the hunt for promotion to the Division 1 elite.

In such a tight division, two teams will drop to Division 3, with two emerging to contest the showpiece decider in April.

We want to know who you think will win Division 2 outright. Let us know.
