POLAND’S STAR STRIKER Robert Lewandowski will be playing for Manchester United next season, according to Franciszek Smuda, manager of the Euro 2012 co-hosts.
Lewandowski leads his country’s line in their opening game against Greece on Friday, having scored 30 goals in Germany his season for league winners Borussia Dortmund.

The Mirror reports Smuda as claiming that his three most pivotal players – Lukasz Piszczek, Kuba Blaszczykowski and Lewandowski – will all be leaving Dortmund after the Championships.
“In my opinion, in a moment they will be gone from Borussia. ‘Lewy’ is going to Manchester United, Kuba also somewhere in England, Piszczek to Real Madrid.
“They have a goal and they want to grow. I base the squad on them.”
Lewandowski has already been linked with moves to Manchester City and Arsenal, but Alex Ferguson and co will now be favourites to sign the 23-year-old having already bought Dortmund’s Shinji Kagawa last week for £12million.
