IRISH SUPPORTERS AT tonight’s World Cup qualifying clash with Germany will unfurl a banner in memory of James Nolan, who died in tragic circumstances during the summer’s European Championships in Poland.

Supporters group You Boys In Green have got together to remember the Blessington native, whose death shocked the Irish football community back in June.

A tweet from group reads: ‘Time stands still for 1 minute before kick-off tonight, when a nation remembers the life of the late James Nolan #RIP’

    He’s pretty good at winning frees too and he has the referees to thank for their always favour the forward attitude.

    Class free taker but if i was a cork supporter i would be disappointed with his return from play
