Pettersen claims second Irish Open title

No one can stop the Norwegian who was in stunning form all weekend.

Suzann Pettersen of Norway won the Ladies Irish Open by six strokes on Sunday, carding a stunning round of 64 to finished on 17-under-par.

The victory was set up by the world number three’s hard work on Saturday – when she carded a course record round of 63 – and she eventually came back to the clubhouse in 198 shots and well clear of Spain’s Azahara Munoz in second.

Best of the Irish was Cavan native Leona Maguire on +1, one shot ahead of twin sister Lisa.
