A petition for EA to make a GAA Playstation game is gaining momentum

And the Xbox, too. PLEASE.

THOSE PLAYSTATION 2 fans among us will remember back to 2005 when one of the worst games imaginable was unleashed on the Irish public:

Gaelic Games Football.

It wasn’t exactly a hit, and there was another effort made in 2007 to revive the franchise – but it wasn’t enough.

Now though, the Irish GAA Banter Facebook page has started a petition to rectify this travesty. They want “A Hurling & Football Ps4 & Xbox 1 Game made by EA Sports.”

And they’ve even created a cover for them as well

The petition reads:

We the Irish people would appreciate if you would consider making a GAA game, it would outsell the likes of Fifa 17 in Ireland on both Xbox and Playstation platforms and would also have a very strong market in the United Kingdom, United States of America and Australia.
Thanks for your time,
People of Ireland

And it’s been signed by over 2000 people since being set up last week.

It’s actually been sent to the EA offices in the UK as well, so chances are someone there has actually read it.

Imagine the possibilities
