Peter Hanson sinks hole-in-one, pays woman's mortgage for a year

The Swedish golfer’s first ever hole-in-one came with an added bonus for Arline Deacon.

EVERY HOLE-IN-ONE is memorable, but Peter Hanson’s at Congressional’s 233-yard second hole during the Quicken Loans National was a little more special than others.

The tournament’s title sponsor, Quicken Loans, was running a number of hole-in-one promotions throughout the course of play, and Hanson’s excellent shot sparked a random competition which ended with one woman’s mortgage payments being taken care of for a year.

Arline Deacon was the person to benefit from Swedish golfer Hanson’s first ever hole-in-one.
