PEPE REINA HAS some words of cold comfort for Liverpool supporters regarding Luis Suarez’ future at the club.
The Spanish goalkeeper, who is on loan at Serie A side Napoli for the season, believes the Uruguayan striker will follow him out the exit door at Anfield. Suarez is the subject of an official transfer bid from Arsenal and Real Madrid are said to be interested in his purchase.

“It looks like he’s going to leave,” Reina told Sky Sports News, “but, at the end of the day, it’s Liverpool’s player and they must make the decision.”
Reina says Napoli’s presence in this seasons Champions League is a major motivation for him with the season just weeks away from kick-off. Liverpool are not in any European competitions in 2013/14.
“I’m really looking forward to playing in the Champions League, which was an amazing competition for us [Liverpool] in the past three or four years. It is what every player wishes to play in every year.”
Steven Gerrard, meanwhile, is expecting more players to arrive at Anfield before the Premier League season begins. The Liverpool captain, speaking after the 2-0 win over Olympiakos in his testimonial match, praised new signings Simon Mignolet, Luis Alberto and Kolo Toure.
He commented, “All our new signings are settling well and, hopefully, there will be one or two more in the coming weeks.”
