Paul Scholes gives a rare interview with Gary Neville

The retiring Manchester United midfielder hinted at a move into management and revealed why he’s not a fan of social media.

NEVER ONE TO seek the limelight, retiring Manchester United legend Paul Scholes allowed his former team-mate Gary Neville a rare interview on Sky Sports yesterday.

The veteran midfielder talked Alex Ferguson, saying his biggest strength is the way he protects players and never criticises them in public.

On the future, Scholes admitted that he would like to manage his own team – so it may not be the last you see of ‘The Ginger Prince’.

His response to why he’s not on Twitter?

What’s the point in telling people what you’re doing? Why? I’m going to the shop… so what.”
