Paul O'Connell absolutely bossed A Question of Sport last night

The man’s talent knows no bounds.

A Question of Sport Team captain Phil Tufnell high fives Paulie.

WITH TIME ON his hands since retiring from rugby earlier this year, Paul O’Connell has been popping up on our television screens quite regularly in recent weeks.

The former Ireland and Munster captain appeared on The Late Late Show at the start of the month, and last night, featured on the BBC’S quiz show A Question of Sport.

Alongside ex-champion jockey AP McCoy and team captain Phil Tufnell, they faced footballer Leon Osman, currently a free agent, Welsh Olympic cyclist Elinor Barker and opposing skipper Matt Dawson — once an England and Northampton Saints scrum-half.

And O’Connell earned himself a standing ovation by completely pulling it out of the bag.

Tasked with guessing the sporting term from the blank spaces on screen, the Limerick man incredibly came up with the right answer — Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach — using just two letters as a clue.

What a man.
